Quietside Trail Map
The Chamber prints an up-to-date map of hiking trails on the Quietside.
The map also includes tide tables for Southwest Harbor,
the time of sunrise and sunset,
and the current phase of the moon.

Southwest Harbor Port Directory and Business Guide
The Port Directory covers the towns of both Tremont and Southwest Harbor
(including the villages of Manset, Bass Harbor and Bernard).
The Directory is available free at most tourist information booths
on Mt Desert Island as well as the Chamber office.
MDI Business Locator Map
Widely used and distributed around the island,
the Business Locator puts a good road map of MDI in a compact form.
Shows the location of most island businesses.

A more whimsical look at MDI,
showing many of the area's restaurants, activities, stores, and accommodations.

Official Park Service Map
The map published by the National Park Service,
it gives a good overview of the park, carriage roads and trails.
For any trip beyond the simplest, however,
it's best to use a more detailed map like the Quietside Trail Map or a specialized guidebook.
Birding Guide to Acadia
Bob Duchesne, an enthusiastic birder and creator of the Maine Birding Trail,
has produced a comprehensive guide for birding on MDI.
Included in the guide are maps of where to go and descriptions of what you're likely to see.
