• Bed and Breakfasts. Usually smaller in scale than inns or hotels with more personal service and the opportunity to meet other guests. Full breakfast is included with the room. Most are not appropriate for children.

• Inns, Hotels and Motels. Generally larger in scale than B&Bs with more staff and a wider range of services. Some have attached restaurants. Most welcome children.

• Cottages and Cabins. Vary greatly in terms of appointments, size, luxury and location. Usually include a kitchen and often require a minimum stay of one week. Generally welcome children and may be pet friendly.

• Campgrounds. Accommodation for tents, campers and RV's. Individual sites often have electric and water hookups and may provide Internet access. Shower and laundry either on premises or nearby. Children and most pets welcome.
